I may or may not have mentioned that one of my goals for this year is to start eating healthier and start working out again. I know one of my major problems is that I do not eat enough protein. Protein is helps with weight loss. Since I am not a huge meat/fish/egg eater, I get my protein through rice protein shakes. Now, I am not a nutritionist so I will not get into anything deep, but I am going to share from time-to-time a few of my favorite protein drinks.
To make this protein shake as healthy as possible, I try to use all organic and/or non-GMO products. Also, as I told you in this post, I have a gluten sensitivity so these ingredients are also gluten-free.

- 1 cup brewed, unsweetened coffee (cold)
(my favorite Intelligentsia Black Cat Classic Espresso)
- 1 scoop chocolate rice protein
(I use Growing Naturals Organic Rice Protein Chocolate Powder)
- 4 oz unsweetened almond milk
(Pacific Natural Foods Organic Unsweetened Almond Beverage)
- Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until well mixed!
I absolutely love to use my Magic Bullet. I bought the Magic Bullet 17-Piece Express Mixing Set.
I love the bullet because you can literally use the blending cup as a glass to drink out of. Also, the mixing set is great because you can make your shakes ahead of time and store them in the fridge until your ready to drink them. I would only recommend making them no earlier than 24 hours in advance.
