I received my fourth Stitch Fix box this month. If you don’t know by now, I love monthly boxes; I’m always full of anticipation to open them up and see what’s inside. The one thing I really like about Stitch Fix is that if you do not like your items you can send them back. Also, it’s not like your normal subscription boxes. You get to choose when you want your next box.
What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. You tell them your style, size, and budget preferences, and they send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. They’ll send you a box of 5 clothing and accessory items. You pay a $20 styling fee which will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. You have 3 days to decide what you’ll keep. Return the items you don’t want in the pre-paid mailing bag at any USPS mailbox. If you buy all 5 items you save 25% off the entire shipment price.
This is what came in my Stitch Fix box:
Bay to Baubles Campbell Delicate Gold Ball Necklace – ($28.00):
I like this necklace. It’s simple and versatile, really it can go with anything. Finally, I received a piece of jewelry I liked that did not cost almost $100. This is a great necklace that can be used when layering necklaces. I didn’t keep this necklace though because I have one very, very similar.
Pomelo Darcy Weave Jersey T-Shirt Dress ($68.00):
I was really unsure about this dress when I first saw it. I loved the colors. I LOVE the stripes, but what I was unsure about was the weird weave going down the middle. Well, then I tried the dress on and realized, it didn’t look bad once on. I LOVE this dress. It is so comfortable and the jersey cotton material is great. It is long enough that I can wear this to work. This dress is something that you can easily dress up or down. Three out of five items from my last Stitch Fix box had Pomelo brand in it and I chose every item. So far, every Pomelo brand item I’ve received, I kept. I love EVERY item on the style card. That pink blazer is to die for!
Kensie Jeans Johnny Skinn Jeans ($88.00):
These jeans were really comfortable, but they did not fit me right. I liked the soft, stretchy jean material because although they are skinny jeans, you still have room to breathe. I didn’t like the length of these jeans. They are ankle jeans, but they did not hit my ankle at the right length. They were more like flood pants. I have long legs so these ankle jeans came above my ankles. It was just an unflattering length for me. If they would have been a little longer, I definitely would have kept them. In fact, if these jeans would have fit me, I would have kept the entire box. If my fix consisted of every item on this style card (aside from the like of the jeans), this would have been the PERFECT fix. I absolutely LOVE those black shoes on the right.
Collective Concepts Adela Embroidered Split Neck Blouse ($68.00):
I LOVE the coral color of this shirt and liked the pattern. I really wanted to like this shirt, but I think I have something against sheer, chiffon material. I don’t know why, but I always decide against anything in this material. I’m not sure if it’s because it I don’t like the feel of the material or because the material doesn’t have a whole lot of shape to it. If this shirt was a bit more inexpensive, I probably would have kept it. If I LOVE every other item shown on this style card…LOVE those sandals.
Tart Bristol Solid & Striped Knit Shirt ($68.00):
Two words: stripes and cotton. I love this shirt. 1. Because I love stripes and 2. It is so comfortable. I love the clutch shown in the style card as well.
